Trapped in a dark room without much memories occurring in his head, the victim is probably part of something bigger and more terrible than he can imagine at first. The whole situation and the stress he is going through remembers many sick games promoted by cruel people, like Saw from the horror movies. However, using the Mouse and the right combination of emotions, thoughts and actions will at least break the limits of a primary blackout, slowly giving him either a chance of finding a way out and back home or the conclusion that there is nothing else to do but to break apart.
